Growth for sake of growing is ideology of Cancer - Edward Abbey

And yet our whole economic structure is based on growth.
All corporations are analysed based on year-on-year growth. What do a company have to prove after having 50+ millions subscribers base? Why cant be they be solely judged based on their services to existing customers? but that's the unfortunate part of our economic system, we plan like we live in ideal world of unlimited resources & unrealistic hopes.
What we need is, organized rewards for sustainable performance. Let go growth parameter after a certain limit. It'll help avoid monopolies, it'll promote sharing of technology/knowledge & most importantly, it'll bring back morality into economic system.

Beauty of Introverts

I once told my girl friend that i am very happy that she's finally out of her shell she used to hide in from everyone before i met her. by the way, she's one of the brightest persons i have met & is prime example of introverts. and i like to consider myself fairly extrovert, may be not in out going but surely in out-reaching and speaking my mind out.

I was most amazed by her response to what i told her. She said "May be i have not grown out of my shell, but may be i have given you space in that shell of mine". And i was awe-struck by her response. Partially because i thought it was one hell of a romantic dialogue but also because it got me thinking that may be that's the only difference between introvert & extroverts. "Only in the way we think about stuff".

As an extrovert, i found it very fancy to say that "finally you are out of your shell". Like i believed that being in shell is something to be discouraged. & i took pride in working on in bringing her out of her shell when all this time she was focusing on free-speech & openness of our relation.Throughout i thought i was improving her personality & all this time it didn't matter to her what her personality was to outer world. She just incorporated those changes for me & for me alone.
